Planthaven Toronto Shipping Policy 

Any Canadian packages selected to be shipped via Canada Post (Xpresspost) will now be automatically transferred to Purolator Express. Alternatively we also offer courier services by UPS and USPS (US orders). Most times, you will notice that your plants will arrive safely in a timely manner of 1-3 business days. Please monitor your tracking number once you recieve our shipping notification by email. 

We strive to deliver your plants quickly and safely by following our weekly shipping schedule. Plants are shipped out once a week, usually on Tuesdays for Canadian orders and every other Thursday for US orders. Please note on weeks with holidays, your plants may be delayed an extra day. 

For packaging, 85% of materials are fully biodegradeable. Commonly used materials are commercial cardboard boxes along with several insulation methods of thermal insulation wrap, packaging paper and paper towel. All plants will also include premium nursery pots that are reuseable.

Shipping in cold weather is what we do best. We monitor weather at all times and we include complimentary heat packs for packages that are being sent to areas with daily high temperatures lower than 5°C (41°F). Our heat packs range from 40 to 72 hours durations with a slow release of heat up to 38°C. This will keep your insulated box to a comfortable room temperature for your plants to stay healthy at all times.
